What is N.A.P.A.?

N.A.P.A. stands for the Napa Academy of Performing Arts, the new educational program at Lucky Penny Productions. Our new education program is designed for those who wish to experience the joy of performance,and for those seeking career training. Our courses and workshops will cover acting, vocal performance, dance for theatre, technical theatre, writing for performance, and improvisational acting. We will also offer opportunities for play readings with discussions, master classes, summer camps and more.

Who is N.A.P.A. for?

Classes and workshops will be offered for youth and adults of all ages and levels of experience.

What classes are offered and when does N.A.P.A. begin?

The list of classes is now available online. FOLLOW THIS LINK to see the list. (Our classes are listed on page 7.) Look for the print version of the City's catalog in your mail the week of December 2nd. Registration opens December 10th. Starting then FOLLOW THIS LINK to the City of Napa Parks and Recreation registration site. The first series of classes will begin in mid January 2020 and class offerings will continue through November 2020. Summer sessions are planned as well and details will be posted soon.  

What does it cost for classes?

An 8-week class costs $140 to $175. That involves eight 75-minute classes and a showcase performance. 

Where do classes take place?

At the Lucky Penny Community Arts Center, 1758 Industrial Way in Napa.
