Producing live theatre is a pursuit that calls for us to be resourceful, adaptable, and persistent. Since our world came to a stop on March 11, 2020, we have done our best to adjust and make new plans, even though there is still a lot of uncertainty. At two months since the shutdown, and after much discussion and consideration, we created a path forward. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that this plan will not change, but we feel confident that we have been conservative in our planning, and we’re now ready to relay it to you. As you read through the plans, please keep in mind that above and beyond anything else, the health and safety of everyone in the Lucky Penny family, including artists, volunteers, patrons, and everyone who steps foot into our doors has always been foremost in our minds.

After reading through the changes to our 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 season below, you may discover you have tickets that you will not be able to use. We kindly request that you consider these options:
  • Turn your tickets into a donation. We will gladly provide a donation receipt for tax purposes.
  • Exchange your tickets for a gift card for use on future purchases. We will be happy to give you the full value of your purchase and add on a bonus of 20% of the value of your purchase.
  • Request a refund. Our tickets are always sold under a “no refund, no exchange” policy. In normal circumstances, we often give refunds anyway when requested. Under the current abnormal circumstances, we urge you to request a refund only if it is truly necessary.
ACTION STEP! If you are a Subscriber or Single Show Ticket Holder please let us know which option you prefer. Email us at info at luckypennynapa.com or call 707-266-6305.
Here is information about each show from the shutdown date in March 2020 through the end of the 2020-21 season next June.
CURRENT SEASON-2019/2020
SWEENEY TODD
After being bounced from our March 2020 performance dates, we postponed the show to run late May-early June. Since we cannot open the theatre that soon, we have moved the show into the 2020-21 season, with performance dates March 12-28, 2021. All tickets have been moved to those new dates, and all ticket holders have the same seats they purchased. If you want to keep your tickets for this show so you can see it next year, there is nothing to do. If you cannot see the show, we are happy to accept your ticket purchase as a donation or offer a gift card for the amount of your purchase that will include a bonus credit of 20% of your purchase.
THE QUALITY OF LIFE

Having to make these changes is not ideal. But we feel we have retained as many productions as possible, with the least amount of disruption for our patrons and artists. We greatly appreciate your patience as we formulated this plan.
And finally, thank you. We know that this is a time full of unknowns, worry and ample amounts of frustration. We feel it too. We miss seeing each and every one of you at the theatre. We miss the buzz of the audience, the musicians warming up before a performance, and the camaraderie among cast members. The main premise of the theatre is to gather people together in a shared space to enjoy a shared experience, and while we are not physically able to do that now, we know without a doubt we will be able to gather again and celebrate when it is deemed safe.
Thank you once again for your continued support of Lucky Penny Productions. We can’t wait to see you at the theatre again soon!
