Our 2013-14 Season

Napa-based Lucky Penny Productions’ fifth season will feature four major stage productions

  • “Monty Python’s Spamalot,” to be presented October 11-20, 2013 on the Main Stage of the Napa Valley Opera House, in association with 6th Street Playhouse in Santa Rosa. A North Bay premiere, the production will run August 23-September 22 at 6th Street before traveling to Napa.
  • “An 8 x 10 Holiday: A Festival of Ten Minute Plays.” Lucky Penny teams up with Napa Valley Playhouse to co-produce this second annual short play event, bringing eight original works to the stage. Following the popularity of the first “8 x 10” in 2012, this years’ version will expand to three weekends December 6-22 at Napa Valley Playhouse.
  • “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” comes to the Napa Valley Opera House in the spring, a co-production with 6th Street Playhouse. Derived from the 1988 film starring Michael Caine and Steve Martin, “Scoundrels” will run April 25-May 4, 2014 in Napa after a three-weekend run in Santa Rosa.
  • “Becky Shaw” by Gina Gionfriddo, a Pulitzer-Prize finalist, a comedy of family, love, bad manners and ethical dilemmas. Co-produced with Napa Valley Playhouse, “Becky Shaw” is set for a three weekend run in July 2014.
