La Cage aux Folles

The barrier-breaking musical "La Cage aux Folles" opened on Broadway in 1983 and went on to win six Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Score, and Best Book. The show tells the story of Georges, the manager of a Saint-Tropez nightclub featuring drag shows, and Albin, his romantic partner and star attraction. Madness ensues when George's son brings home his fiancée and her ultra-conservative parents to meet them. This musical was based on the original play from 1973, which was also the basis for the film "The Birdcage" in 1996.

Revenge of the Rebobs! A New Musical

It's Halloween, 1982, and something's brewing in the hills at the top of Partrick Road. When a skeptic comes to Napa Valley to find out the truth about the legendary Rebobs, he’s drawn into the local mystery – and when bodies start piling up it seems like the Rebobs are out for revenge. Along the way the skeptical researcher meets a barefoot second-generation hippie, a weird trio of goth girls, a wise yet creepy old man who lives on top of the hill, and a guy who definitely peaked in high school. Who is the villain here? Are the Rebobs out for blood? Or are they being framed? "Revenge of the Rebobs!" is the latest collaboration between Composer/Lyricist Rob Broadhurst and Writer Barry Martin who created “The Real Housewives of Napa Valley,” and “A Napa Valley Christmas Carol.”

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever

What motivated authors Lewis Carroll and J.M. Barrie to become so deeply involved in the lives of the real Peter and Alice in the first place? Vulgar, self-centered junkman Harry Brock has come to Washington to make crooked deals with government big-wigs. He has brought with him the charming but dumb ex-chorus girl Billie, whose lack of social graces embarrasses even Harry. Harry hires a young, idealistic magazine reporter to educate Billie. When Billie learns what kind of man Harry really is she rebels against his bullying and precipitates a crisis that threatens to bring down his corrupt enterprise.

When a die-hard theatre fan plays his favorite cast album, the characters come to life in his New York apartment in this hilarious musical farce. In the show-within-the-show, we meet two lovers on the eve of their wedding, a bumbling best man, a desperate theatre producer, a not-so-bright hostess, two gangsters posing as pastry chefs, a misguided Don Juan and an intoxicated chaperone – all the ingredients for a loving send-up of the Golden Age musical. “The Drowsy Chaperone” debuted in 1998 in Toronto and opened on Broadway in 2006 where it went in to win five Tony Awards.
